Our online sweepstakes invited kids to answer a different question about Menudo each month during the school year. We did a drawing from the names of all the contestants who submitted correct answers—and Heather was the lucky winner!

Heather is 14 years old and is finishing up the year in 8th grade at East Shore Middle School in Milford, Connecticut. She has played the violin for five years, performs in the school concert band, and sings in the United Girls Choir, so music is a big part of her life. She also listens to a lot of different kinds of music, including rap, R&B, hip-hop, and rock. Her favorite artists and bands include Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne, T-Pain, Gwen Stefani, Akon, Beyoncé, Shakira, and Christina Aguilera.

As our Sweepstakes winner, Heather will be driven to New York City accompanied by a parent and her music teacher, Bruce Bednarsky, to be our guests at the Menudo Talent Search Finals show. The show will be taped by MTV Tr3s for later broadcast during the summer. Of course, the Music Alive! team will be there to take pictures!
